[Swatch & Review] UZU Mote Mascara Copper

This is the mascara that made me realize that I think I found my mascara brand. It only took me 20 some odd years? 8 months after I originally posted this on the sub: still using it, still loving it. I have a bunch  of other UZU mascaras waiting for me in the wings and I cannot wait.

I am in love!

Completely didn’t mean to order this, in fact double checking my order form, I didn’t. I had ordered the UZU Mote Mascara Vol. 8 (black), but was sent the Copper instead. Checking the site: the packaging between Vol.8 and Copper looks almost exactly the same, so the confusion is understandable.

The Copper is gorgeous and the picture of the wand is missing a bit of the reddish tone that you see IRL.

Wore it to a wedding over the weekend, did my top and bottom lashes, and mascara DID NOT BUDGE. There was light rain before the wedding and I did walk umbrellaless in it for a while. Some dancing was also had. Very natural finish (no clumps) and the level of lengthening and volume is what I’ve been looking for. Did I just finally find my HG mascara line? Super excited to just buy all the colors!

I also have the Mote Mascara Micro while it’s a cute mini mascara wand that also doesn’t budge, I can’t say I’m as in love with the finish (volume and length) as I am with the Vol. 8

Other products used in the eye makeup look:

• Benefit Roller Liner Matte Liquid (Black): don't like it anymore because it does smudge, as evidenced by the pictures. Probably going to change to the MSH Love Liner.
• Hourglass 1.5mm Mechanical Gel Eye Liner: for the waterline. Love it.
• MSH Love Liner Liquid (Dark Brown): LOVE
• Dollywink My Best Liner (Greige): Love
